Proudly serving the North Webster community and hosting the Mermaid Festival for 80 years.
The North Webster Lions Club was chartered in July of 1945 by Lions International. For the last 80 years we have been a strong supporter of the North Webster community.
We have kept the Mermaid Festival going ever since we started our Charter with Lions International. The Mermaid Festival is more than a town fair, it is a community gathering for what used to be 10 days and now 4 days.
In 2014, the ladies from the old Lioness program joined our ranks to fall under the Lions International umbrella. We are pleased to have these ladies as part of our club, joining with them for the great projects they do in addition to what our Club has been doing.
The Lions Club and Mermaid Festival directly support these community initiatives and more.
Chartered Boy Scout Troop 726 in 1949 and Cub Scout Pack 3726 in 1951. We hold the longest Cub Scout charter relationship in Kosciusko County.
We collect used eyeglasses that are cleaned, categorized, and taken with Lions teams around the world to fit people in need. We also provide glasses to kids at North Webster Elementary who can't afford them.
Supporting North Webster Little League, kids sight screening, college scholarships, and the Community Christmas project.
More community projects to be announced.
